SRC I and SRC II. Solvent-refined coal processes have been developed in two steps. SRC I operates at 70 atm and 425°C, with a process-derived solvent. The hydrogen consumption is 3% and the product is mainly a low-sulphur solid fuel. SRC II is a modification of SRC I to make it possible to produce a liquid fuel.
